The Philippine Chinese Charitable Association Inc. (PCCAI), which owns and operates the Chinese General Hospital and Medical Center (CGHMC), renewed its memorandum of agreement (MOA) with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) on April 2, 2025.
The MOU was signed by PCCAI executive vice chairman Xie Ming Zhou and PDEA director-general Isagani Nerez.
PCCAI maintains ongoing collaboration with law enforcement agencies, including the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG), and provides medical support and donations to officers injured in the line of duty.
Xie expressed his support for PDEA, recognizing it as a key agency in the government’s anti-drug campaign.
He said eliminating illegal drugs is aligned with the country’s national interest.
The renewed MOU strengthens the ongoing collaboration between the two institutions, focusing on health and welfare support for law enforcement personnel and cooperative efforts in drug prevention initiatives.
