Manulife Philippines, the local arm of global financial services provider Manulife, won the Outstanding Digital CX – Life Insurance award at the Digital CX Awards held on April 24, 2025, in Singapore.
The award recognized the success of the Manulife App, a self-service platform that lets Filipino customers manage their insurance policies anytime, anywhere.
“At Manulife, the customer is at the heart of everything we do. The Manulife App reflects our drive to make insurance simple, fast, and accessible,” said Manulife Philippines chief marketing officer Sonali Verma.
Launched in 2023 following a 2022 study on Filipinos’ growing preference for digital transactions, the app has undergone regular updates to match evolving needs. It has helped drive a record increase in straight-through processing, enhancing both efficiency and user experience.
Available on iOS and Android, the app offers secure login, online payments, policy access, updates, fund performance tracking, and feedback tools.
“We continue to enhance the app with features that make insurance management easier and more intuitive,” Verma added. “By putting customer feedback at the center, we’re building smarter solutions and advancing our digital-first strategy.”
