The Philippines’ premier pop culture convention, TOYCON PH, returns for its monumental 22nd year with an electrifying lineup of events, exclusives, and guests. In collaboration with MINDstyle’s POP LIFE Festival, this year’s theme is aptly titled “Celebration”, reflecting a broader embrace of fandoms, collector culture, and creative expression.
This year, TOYCON breaks new ground with the official debut of the NBA brand, offering exclusive apparel and merchandise. It marks the first time the globally beloved basketball brand joins TOYCON, expanding the event’s reach into the sports collectors’ market and thrilling Filipino basketball fans.
Gaming nostalgia takes center stage thanks to Republic of Gamers, which is hosting retro team tournaments featuring legendary PC titles like Starcraft, Counter-Strike 1.3, and DotA 1. One classic game will headline each day of the event, transporting fans back to the golden age of LAN gaming.
With a dealer floor featuring over 400 exhibitors and vendors, attendees can shop a massive variety of toys, collectibles, and merchandise. This includes exclusive launches from MINDstyle’s Collectormates and ThrillJoy, and Infinite Brands’ Minix, CaDa, Rastar, and more. Returning powerhouse brands like Lego, Bandai, Banpresto, Tamashii Nations, and Legendary Beast Studios will also make an appearance.
TOYCON PH has become synonymous with exclusive collectibles, and 2025 is no different. Fans can expect rare releases from Quiccs, Collectormates, Thrilljoy, and an ultra-limited VOLTES V Event Exclusive figure.
The much-anticipated TOYCONCert also returns, featuring a powerhouse music lineup with international and local performers such as Starmarie, Miura Ayme with Miko, Pastel Mix, Beverly, and many more lighting up the stage.
TCG TOURNAMENT
In line with its goal of expanding community reach, TOYCON 2025 welcomes trading card gamers, cosplayers, and battle gaming communities, featuring dedicated areas such as TCG Alley—with 60+ vendors—and an all-new cosplay zone. Partnering with Mana Underground, the event will also host high-stakes TCG tournaments for hobbyists and pros alike.
Cosplay and anime fans are in for a treat with the return of CosKon, the prestigious cosplay contest, and a massive lineup of special guest cosplayers from the Philippines and around Asia. Meet fan favorites like Een, Liabear, Kitz Cua, Pompomny, Chanel Yui (Singapore), Tiny Asa (Vietnam), Eri and Riela (Indonesia).
TokuSpirits also brings a nostalgic punch with iconic tokusatsu guests including Ryota Ozawa (Gokai Red) and Yui Koike (Gokai Pink), along with legendary seiyuus Miyuki Ueda, Rica Matsumoto, and newly announced Yuriko Yamaguchi—famed for voicing Nico Robin in One Piece and Ritsuko Akagi in Evangelion.
Fans of local dubbing will be thrilled by a historic reunion of the full Tagalog voice cast of the Straw Hat Pirates from One Piece. Attendees can meet the entire crew and get a rare look into the world of Philippine voice acting.
Creativity also takes the spotlight with over 100 artists in Artist Alley, toy customization contests, photography competitions, and the launch of the International Art Toy Design Competition, where one artist’s design will be selected and produced by MINDstyle as a premium collectible.
One of the most anticipated moments of TOYCON PH is the announcement of the Pinoy Pop Culture Icon Awardee, an honor that celebrates individuals who have significantly shaped Filipino pop culture.
